The GAA has cut admission prices for the All-Ireland hurling final replay between Galway and Kilkenny by more than a third.
Stand tickets, which cost €80 yesterday, have been reduced to €50, while tickets for Hill 16 have been slashed from €40 to €25. Croke Park will also make available children's tickets costing €10 in the usual designated areas within the stadium and expect to sell in excess of 5,000 of these tickets.
The gesture will be welcomed by GAA fans and should ensure an 82,000 sell-out for the September 30 replay. The All-Ireland minor final replay meeting of Dublin and Tipperary will also take place on the same day as the senior replay and throw-in times will be the same as yesterday - 1.15pm for the minor and 3.30pm for the senior.
The referees for both replays will be confirmed in the coming days.
