Open Training Night for Children
On Friday next 24th August members of the team and management will host an open training night, sponsored by Supermac's, for young players at Kenny Park Athenry commencing at 7.30pm. Children are invited to attend to meet the players and maybe learn a few tips from them.
PLEASE NOTE:
Kids participating in Fridays Supermacs Meet the Players Evening MUST wear a Helmet.
NO HELMET NO ENTRY.
All Kid's intending to participate in Skills Sessions are asked to bring along their hurleys.
Clubs are encouraged to inform as many members as possible through
their own websites, Facebook sites and text out services.

Training Fund
Galway Hurling Board have launched an All-Ireland Hurling Final Training Fund in the build up to this year's Senior Final on Sunday September 9th with a number of fundraising events over the next three weeks.
Contributions to the Fund by individuals or firms would be very welcome and can be made to any Hurling Board or County Board officer. All contributions will be acknowledged and receipts sent out by the Galway Hurling Board.
Over next weekend 25th and 26th August there will be a Church Gate Collection throughout the county in aid of the Galway hurling and camogie training funds. Galway supporters are asked to make a contribution and show their support for the team in their bid to win the McCarthy Cup for the first time since 1988.
All-Ireland Final Tickets
All-Ireland Final tickets will be distributed through GAA clubs who will be given an allocation of tickets. Supporters are advised to apply to their local club as no tickets will be on sale to the public at Pearse Stadium or any other venue.
