TIPPERARY 2-16 GALWAY 1-14
Tipperary produced a fantastic performance to see off Galway in a highly entertaining All-Ireland MHC semi-final at Croke Park on Sunday.
Inspired by midfielder John McGrath, the Tipp youngsters finished with five points to spare over a gutsy Galway team that was forced to play the last 15 minutes with 14-men after captain and full-back Paul Killeen was harshly dismissed for a second yellow card offence.
Well done to Turloughmore players Sean Linnane and Richard Doyle who made the Galway panel for the game and to Sean who came on in the second half. Both Sean and Richard are under 16 thus making their achievement in making the minor panel all the more praiseworthy.
