Sarsfields 3-17, Turloughmore 0-11.

It was a disappointing outcome for Turloughmore Senior Hurlers yesterday evening after they faced Sarsfields GAA Club in their third game of the group in Kenny Park.

The Turlough side were under strength to begin, with both Paul Dullaghan & Daithi Burke having to be withdrawn from the starting side due to illness.

Turloughmore made a good start with Richard Doyle getting the opening score of the game, however it was short lived with him being shown the line in the next passage of play after an aerial pull went astray.

The Turlough side never got to grips with the game after that and Sarsfields had no problems, cruising to victory on a score line of 3-17 to 0-11.

Sean Linnane was the stand out player on the Turloughmore side, with Ronan Badger steady on the free's.

Turloughmore will now need to beat Padraig Pearses in their final group game to finish second in the group.

Team: Mark Fahy, Darragh Joyce, Ronan Burke, Mark Murphy, Danny Burke, Fergal Moore, Sean Loftus, Michael Morris, Kevin Hussey, Richard Doyle, Sean Linnane, Matthew Keating, Brian Murphy, Ronan Badger Darren Shaughnessy.

Subs: Cian Burke for Brian Murphy, Philip Doyle for Ronan Badger
