In advance of their upcoming County Final, the Turloughmore Under 21 hurlers had a very enjoyable daytrip to Croagh Patrick today where the panel climbed the 2,507 foot reek despite the difficult conditions.
The first group to reach the summit in 55 mins with the remainder coming shortly behind. A difficult windy mist made climbing conditions tough however everyone enjoyed the test.
After their descent, the panel travelled to nearby Bertra Beach for a swim and onwards to Westport for a meal where they watched the All Ireland Semi Final between Waterford and Kilkenny.
