Turloughmore 3-8 Kilconieron 2-5
Turloughmore reached the U13 A County final when they defeated Kilconieron in Kenny Park Athenry on Thursday evening. Backed by the breeze, Turloughmore started well and by half time led by 1-6 to 0-1.
Turloughmore started the second half with a well worked goal to extend their lead, but Kilconieron upped the tempo and were back to 2-6 to 0-5 with 10 minutes left. However, Turloughmore’s third goal 8 minutes from time left them in command, though Kilconieron did finish strongly and shot two goals – the latter from a penalty – to leave the final score at Turloughmore 3-8 Kilconieron 2-5.

Turloughmore play Clarinbridge in the Final, which is fixed for Saturday July 28th. Clarinbridge were most impressive as they defeated Ballygar by 2-5 to 0-1 in the other semi-final.
