Turloughmore defeated Craughwell in the fourth round of the U13 championship in Craughwell on Thursday. The game was played in difficult conditions as Turloughmore led by 0-7 to 0-3 at half time, before driving for victory in the second half.

Karl Conneely, Conor Campbell, Conor Walsh, Robert Dunleavy and Barry Callanan were all on the score sheet against a defensive Craughwell side. Ronan McDonagh did well in goal, while the defence was tight – a fact that was highlighted in the second half when Turloughmore held their opponents scoreless.

Turloughmore next play Tynagh Abbey Duniry, next Thursday evening (July 5th), in Lackagh.
