Turloughmore 2-12 Ardrahan 0-12

Turloughmore were defeated by Ardrahan in Round 2 of the Minor Championship in Clarinbridge on Sunday. Turloughmore started well and went into a 0-7 to 0-0 lead  with chief scorer Mark Fahy, Barry Callanan and Karl Conneely all on target. However, Ardrahan finished the opening period strongly and had the margin back to 0-7 to 0-5 at the break

Ardrahan got a great start to the second half with a goal and led by 1-10 to 0-9 by the three quarters stage. Mark Fahy, Conor Walsh and Karl Conneely shot scores but Ardrahan wrapped up the win with a late goal to run out 2-12 to 0-12 winners.

Turloughmore have games remaining with Oranmore/Maree, Liam Mellows and Athenry with Oranmore/Maree next up.
