Turloughmore Seniors beat Craughwell in League 13-03-2016

Turloughmore 3-21  Craughwell 1-12.

Turloughmore Senior Hurlers beat a weakened Craughwell in the first round of the 2016 Senior Hurling League today in front of a good crowd at Lackagh.

Craughwell commenced the game at a lightening pace and had Turloughmore on the back foot by racing into a 1-3 to 1 point lead after ten minutes, full forward Alan Callanan with the goal for Craughwell. 
Turloughmore then settled into the game with some good scores from Sean Linnane, Conor Shaughnessy, Gary Burke, Mikey Morris and a superb Kevin Hussy point from long range. It meant Turlough went in at half time leading on a scoreline of 10 points to 1-3. 

A strong second half performance by Turloughmore stretched the lead even further. Good points were scored during this half by Mikey Morris and Barry Mc Donagh to name a few. Finally a well worked goal finished by Gary Burke and two more from the in-form Cian Burke sealed the deal for the home side. 
Turloughmore ultimately won out on a scoreline of 3-19 to 1-11.
