Message from the County Board regarding the upcoming League game between Galway & Cork.

A Chara,

Galway GAA and the Pearse Stadium Committee welcome all Supporters and Patrons to Galway City and Salthill on Sunday next, 14th February 2016 for the Allianz Hurling League, Div.1 Round 1 game between Galway and Cork

The game on Sunday will result in increased traffic in the Galway, Salthill and Pearse Stadium areas and we urge all Supporters and Patrons to arrive early, in order to avoid traffic congestion and delays.

Signage will be erected and Marshalls will be posted on duty outside the Stadium, to guide Patrons to designated Car Parks. We request all Patrons to park in the designated Car Parks    and to park legally and responsibly, at all times.

Finally, we request all Supporters travelling to Pearse Stadium for this game to be conscious, mindful and respectful to the needs of local residents.

In Summary:
1. Please travel with care and arrive early!
2. Please use designated Car Parks and park legally and responsibly.
3. Please be respectful and mindful of the needs of Local Residents
4. Enjoy the game and safe journey home.

In addition I would encourage all supporters to purchase tickets in advance from designated Centra and Supervalu outlets.

These tickets cost €10 whereas buying on Sunday (Match Day) will cost 50% more (€15)

Children Under-16 have free admission.

Thank You for your cooperation.
