Bobby Madden RIP 16-07-2015
All in Turloughmore Hurling Club are saddened at the sudden passing of Bobby Madden, lifelong member of the Club and legendary goalkeeper. 

Bobby, who resided in Cartymore, played intermediate hurling with Galway in the 60’s and during his career made a number of appearances for Galway teams. A fearless goalkeeper who was good on his feet, he hurled with Turloughmore up until the 70s. 

He was an integral part of the Turloughmore 6 in a row success. As a mark of respect the Junior A championship game between An Spidéal and Turloughmore fixed for Saturday July 18th has been postponed.

Predeceased by his son Damien, Turloughmore hurling Club would like to express their sympathy to his wife Mary, sons Paul and Seamus, daughter Nicola, sister Mary, son-in-law Alan, Paul's partner Aine, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law and relatives and many friends.

Resposing at Lackagh Mortuary Chapel tomorrow, Thursday, July 16th, from 6pm. Removal at 8pm to the Church of Our Lady of Knock. 
Requiem Mass on Friday, July 17th, at 11am, Funeral afterwards to Lackagh Old Cemetery. Family flowers only, by request.
